Meet Pastor Jeff Kapusta, our church planter contributor

The first time Pastor Jeff Kapusta and I talked in person, his church, Lifepoint Church, was getting ready to helicopter-drop thousands of Easter eggs onto a sports field at Ashley High School.

Needless to say, Pastor Jeff takes a bold approach to church, and that’s the philosophy he takes about church planting.

For Religion News Wilmington, Pastor Jeff will write about church planting movements in our area and reflect on national trends in church planting. He’ll also address public stereotypes about church today.

Learn a little more about him here:

“Pastor Jeff Kapusta is the Lead Pastor of Lifepoint Church. He believes that God has called him to mobilize a movement of believers to live beyond themselves and reach the world for Christ.

After graduating from Liberty University with a degree in religion, he spent 8 years in youth ministry. All the while he felt God birthing a desire to plant a life-giving church and in 2005 he answered that call and founded Lifepoint in Wilmington, NC.

He and his wife, Michelle, have three amazing kids as well as a three-pound dog appropriately named “Brutus.” Pastor Jeff loves surfing, coffee, anything Apple makes, and exists to love God, love others, and serve the world.

Welcome Pastor Jeff!
