I knew it!
After a full week of preparation, I knew where Sam Teague would lead this brave Christian early this morning: to “The Lord’s Prayer.”
So it was with great expectancy that I read it in today’s scripture, Matthew 6: 7-13.
From my background in world faiths, I could no longer read “The Lord’s
Prayer” in a traditional Christian manner. On a blank sheet of paper, I wrote what came to me:
A METAPHYSICAL INTERPRETATION OF THE LORD’S PRAYER (Matthew 6:9-13)
“O Indwelling Presence,
Holy is your Vibration!
May Creation be birthed from Sacred Union within.
May Divine Love be fulfilled: as in mind, so in matter.
Provide us with Supply and Understanding,
Now and forever more.
Call us to Forgiveness, the doorway back to Unity,
Where we hold everyone in Divine Purity.
Lead us from the darkness of ignorance
To the Light of Knowledge.
Through Spirit is Creation,
Through Spirit is Source energy,
Through Spirit is Universal Harmony,
Forever and ever. Amen.”
