Last Friday (March 9), the cause for canonization of the late Father

Thomas F. Price, the first ordained priest in North Carolina, a Wilmington native and a co-founder of the Maryknoll Society was opened at a ceremony in Raleigh.
Vatican dignitaries and officials from the Catholic Diocese of Raleigh
attended, to enact the research phase of Price’s cause.
