Famous atheist Christopher Hitchens dead at 62

Christopher Hitchens, the famous writer known for his fiery public opposition to religious belief, has died after a battle with esophogial cancer. He was 62.

Locally, Han Hills, the president of Humanists and Freethinkers of Cape Fear, is writing a piece about what Christopher Hitchens meant to atheists, humanists and freethinkers in our area. We’ll have that posted on this site later today.
